We've been asked most times what's the DNA of an Incy Rooms and to be honest we haven't thought much about it. It slowly dawned upon us as we were looking at these gorgeous images of Rica and her family by Little Heartbeat Photography.
At the start we were given a design brief and as with onsite projects we asked for images of her house. Upon looking at these we then suggested that we change track and use her house, her things, her place as the basis/foundation of the style. What you then see in the photos are her everyday things coupled with our products. For us this makes it more authentic, Rica as interpreted through Incy Rooms.
Rica has a gorgeous house filled with pieces she has lovingly bought, curated. There are stories these items tell. We've reinterpreted them by placing them in a tableau with our products so the image doesn't feel foreign. Here we've draped, layered items from Lorena Canals and Urban walls to give a textural element. A backdrop to a story so to speak.
